ith the tolling of the clock the New Year is upon us, and we have all sorts of things in store for you! From great new games to our first Storm the Keep event (our fancy name for our Customer Reward Program), the year ahead of us promises to be one of continued fun and excitement.

eep your heads down and prepare to Storm the Keep! What does that mean, you might ask? Great question.

We have decided to institute our Customer Reward program as follows:

  • A few times a year (from two to four, most likely) we will hold our Storm the Keep event.
  • During the two week event period, each customer will have store credit equal to 15% of their totalpurchases since the last Storm the Keep event.
  • You can only use this store credit to purchase merchandise; it cannot be redeemed for cash, nor can it be used to purchase gift cards.
  • At the end of the two weeks, all store credit and purchase amounts will be reset to begin
accumulating for the next Storm the Keep event.

You do not need to worry about keeping track of your purchases, as we are able to do it all through our in-store system; you just need to provide us with your first and last name when you check out, and everything will be taken care of from there (providing an email address and/or a phone number also helps us in making sure that we keep each customers rewards separate and distinct, however neither of those two pieces of information are required).

The main restriction on the reward program is that any items purchased at a discounted rate (either due to being on sale, or as a result of some form of other in-store discount program) do not count toward your purchase total for the Storm the Keep event.

The very first Storm the Keep event will run from Thursday, January 17th through Thursday, January 31st. Come close of business on Thursday, January 31st, everything will be reset and rewards will begin to accumulate for the next Storm the Keep event.

New Releases

  • Confrontation: Age of the Rag'Narok Starter Box - With the release of this box, Rackham brings their fantasy miniatures game into the world of prepainted plastics. The sculpts are nice-looking, and the paint jobs are not too shabby at all.... oh, and the rule system is fast-paced and brutal!
  • Warmachine: Pirates of the Broken Coast Rulebook - The latest book in the Warmachine line gives you all the info you need to field your very own pirate force. Rush into battle with Broadsides Bart, or send a monkey to do a man's work... either way it's nothing but pure fun.
  • Memoir '44 Air Pack - Take to the skies with this expansion for the great board game by Days of Wonder.
  • The Imperial Infantryman's Uplifting Primer: Damocles Gulf Edition - Ever wonder what it's like to be part of the Imperial Guard in the Warhammer 40,000 universe? This book answers most of your questions while leaving you wondering whether it's really worth it to enlist in the Guard.
  • Wings of War Airplanes - That's right! We've gotten our hands on a supply of several of the excellent World War I planes that are being made by Fantasy Flight Games for their Wings of War board game. These little babies are nice to look at, and they can all be yours!
