I have been working on a Sci-Fi combat system that allows people to use
any minis they have from Battletech/Cav/etc. I have the system mostly on my laptop also. (which makes it much faster to design vehicles and play).
I know there are alot of systems out there, and I wont go into mine fully here.
I guess the fun part of the system is, the player gets to design everything about their vehicle (even the weapons). All of the cons I have playtested it at, the players have loved it. One of the cool features is that each player represents a different Corporation, and most of the vehicles on the board are always "Prototypes". So that makes for very interesting battles, as the players are not only busy with battlefield tactics and strategy, but they are trying to work out the bugs in their new gear. (all the time having the company give them orders)
I have tons of mini's and can run almost anytime.
I will drop by on fridays and saturdays also, to set up some play times.
As a fellow game designer and mech fan, you have peaked my interest.
It’s Chris, the guy in the red jacket. For Corporate Warlords I’d be interested in setting up a demo. I’m using the forums since I like it better than email, no spam problems (sometimes messages don’t get through to me for some reason) but anyway... I’ll take a look at the game some time this week.
And thanks a whole lot for your input into our Gundam game in the works.
Great.
I am always ready to run a game. Most of the time I try and have pre-printed blanks to write on. At the moment my Laser Jet is down. But I will try and get some printed out so we can play a game. (or even just recored it on the notebook.
I have plenty of miniatures, but if you want to try any of yours feel free.
Even if you want to try your Gundam scale that would be cool also.
If you know of anyone else that might have an interest, let em know.
I am there most Friday evenings, and most Saturday evening. I will be there after about 3 or 4pm today. (Saturday)..
So I took a look at the rules, but a lot of it was difficult to understand. It looks like something I’d have to play a demo game to get it. The mech designing looks awesome! I was going to DL the spreadsheet and mess around but your site went down >_<.
I’ll prolly be there this weekend, Friday or Saturday. If I see ya around we’ll have to try a demo.
So sorry I wasn’t there on Saturday. I really wanted to be, but something came up. There were some family issues going on and someone took the truck when they knew I needed it… I was stuck here. Ugh, it sucked. Maybe next weekend?
That's not a problem, lol, my family had something come up also. So I could not be there. I will be probably available all day Saturday. (and Friday night).
So I would like to get a good demo going. It would be great to shoot up some gear.
I am the guy that you talk to on Friday till about 7:00
Anyhow I looked on here for the Corporate Warlords rules but I can seem to find them. Also searched the net... but Corporate Warlords is used way too much on the net to make google search useful.

I am looking to get some games started. I am interested in running some games at the keep. It would be great if I could get a few people on a regular basis to help me playtest this. I have tons of Minis, etc. Feel free to drop me an email (twickstr@yahoo.com) and let me know if you want to help me get this rolling.
